The school is named after the Great Teacher “SIDDHARTHA” who enlightened the mankind with his heavenly teachings and proclaimed as light of Asia- Lord Buddha. ‘Siddhartha’ is managed by a group of teachers and eminent personalities from all walks of life named after ‘Siddhartha Foundation’, Kollam. It is a non-profitable and charitable trust functioning under the effective guidance of dedicated educationalists. Our school is affiliated to the Central Board Of Secondary Education, New Delhi.

Academic Structure

For the smooth and effective functioning of the school we separated it as four sections namely Kindergarten, Primary, Secondary and Senior Secondary.

Pre-Primary (LKG & UKG) Primary (I to V) Secondary (VI to X) Senior Secondary (XI and XII)

Senior Secondary classes started by June 2010. The school will meet all the basic requirements which includes full-fledged laboratories and library that can enable the students to complete all national level examinations.

The Library is spacious with audio-visual facilities, computers, immense collection of books and CD for all subjects and has a full-fledged reference section and reading room for convenience of students and teachers. Books are issued to student at regular intervals with definite rules governing issuance and return of books.

PROMOTION CRITERIA

For promotion the overall grade of formative assessments and summative assessments of two terms for classes I to XI will be taken into consideration. Grading scale is introduced for the school assessment. A students must obtain at least an average of D grade in each subject including formative and summative assessment.

MASTERING THE MYSTERY OF SCIENCE

At Siddhartha Central School, it is Science Time now! – the Science Fest 2017 is coming up! Science Fest is conducted once in 3 years, with the purpose of developing the inherent talents and creativity of the students in the areas of science & technologyand also to train the students to demonstrate and present in public. The teachers
dedicate a lot of their time and efforts in grooming and preparing students for the same. The demonstration
of the project will be presented to the community within the campus and also to the general public

Kerala Governor P. Sathasivam inaugurates the ” The Temple of Communal Harmony ” & “The Statue of Siddhartha”

The Temple of Communal Harmony at the campus of Siddhartha Central School, Pallimon, constructed with the initiative of the PTA was inaugurated by the Retd. Justice P Sathasivam , The Hon’ble Governor of Kerala. The school was graced by his presence . The temple of communal harmony and the statue of the prince ‘siddhartha’ , which measures 13 inches in height , are the first of its kind which gives us a clear cut message of “Unity in Diversity”.

The Hon’ble Governor also pointed out that all students must be aware about the Preamble of Indian Constitution , as it gives importance to the rights and the duties of the Indian citizens . He suggested to translate the same into the mother tongue and should be circulated among the students on the school re-opening day itself. He also opined that if the new generation is aware about the fundamental duties, there will not be any disparity among the people of different religions and there by creates a feeling that “We all are Indians”.

The welcome speech was delivered by Sri. U Suresh , Secretary , Siddhartha Foundations, Kollam, Felicitations by Sri. S Nazarudeen, President , Nedumpana Grama Panchayat and Smt. Prasanna Ramachandran, Member, Nedumpana Grama Panchayat. Smt.Beena K Thambi , Dean Academics, Siddhartha Schools addressed the audiance. The Presidential address was given by the PTA President B Sajeev, Siddhartha Central School, Pallimon.

The sculptor Sri. Sarath Mulankadakom , Gopika Sailendran, Former student and Kerala University BA Rank Holder (English), School Toppers & Sri. S M Venkitta Narayana Reddiyar received mementos as an honour from the Hon’ble Governor. Vote of Thanks was rendered by the Principal , Smt. Sree Rekha Prasad, of the school.

Siddhartha Central School Celebrates Annual Day

Siddhartha Central School celebrated its  15th Annual day function 2019 titled  “Effort , Mindfulness  & Concentration” with great enthusiasm and zeal on 1st and 2nd February 2019 . Adv. T.P Ibrahim Khan , State President of  CBSE School Management Association was the chief guest for the event. Siddees’ presented various cultural programs on the occasion.  Sri. S Nazarudeen – Grama Panchayath President, B Sajeev – PTA President ,  School Leaders, School  Manager & Principal were present on the function.
